IRVINE, CA: AMAZON VAN involved in death of toddler.
Tragic incident involving a toddler that was struck and killed, by an Amazon delivery van, Tuesday in Irvine.
According to police, the incident occurred approximately after 3:00 p.m. in an apartment complex on Estancia blvd.
Police investigation indicates that the collision happened in the apartment building parking lot.
Reports indicate that the First responders with the Orange County Fire Authority arrived at the scene, but the young girl was deceased.
It appears that the Amazon van was operated by a third party contractor, and that while the cause of the collision is under investigation, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
